In three more days it will be Father's Day. My thoughts will turn to my father who passed away ten years ago. He was my hero and a man I loved very much. He raised me and my brothers and sisters after my mother left us high and dry. She has passed away too and I forgave her for leaving us as I felt we got the better deal. We had a great dad to raise us and love us.
Take time this Sunday, and every day, to say thank you to your dad and tell him you love him. Don't wait until he is gone to realize all the things you should have said and done. Regrets are one of the saddest things in life so don't allow it to happen to you. I am glad I told my Dad I loved him often and I spent as much time with him as I could. I wish it had been more.
