Enjoy the little things in life

The sun shines on rich people and poor people. Rain, the wind, fresh air; all of these are available to all of us. Remember, the reason you don't take anything with you when you die is because everything of value is already inside of you. Nurture the things that matter most, your health, your loved ones, your relationships. When you die it is better to be remembered for who you were as a person rather than for things that you did.

Take time everyday to enjoy the little things of life. They are all around you. Flowers, trees, a breeze, sunshine, raindrops. Wonderful acts of creation that can bring awe to the hardest heart. How can you look at a sunrise or a sunset and not be overwhelmed with fascination. You can work for 100 years and never invent or create anything as beautiful as any of those things. So, enjoy life all around you. Be glad that you can have all of these wonderful gifts no matter how much money you have, or how famous you are, or what station you have in life. In death we are all equal. We need to realize that it should be the same in life.
