The First Key to Happiness

In my book, The Keys to an Abundant Life, I mention several keys to happiness. One of the major ones is to realize that wealth is not measured in money but rather in quality of life. If you are sitting on a desert island all by yourself with $5,000,000 in cash how much is that cash worth? Obviously the answer is nothing. The money has no value because you cannot exchange it for anything.

If someone makes $3,000 a month and lives in Cairo they can live like a king. If you make $3,000 a month and live in Manhattan you probably live with your parents. Money is always relative and true wealth comes from the quality of life you lead, the quality of your relationships with your children and loved ones, and the quality of time you spend. Time is a sequence of choices so make each choice count.
