Obama will be a one-term president

Every four to eight years the people of America get their hopes up that the new president is going to change their world forever. Obama came to office with more pressure to change things than any other president in our lifetime. Because he said he would bring change people have expected it but, like every other president before him, this president has learned that he is not a dictator, he does not make the rules. Washington makes the rules and the president needs the approval and ok from a lot of people if he or she wants to get their policies approved.

Because we have expected so much from Obama and he has not been able to deliver, people will judge him more harshly than previous presidents. Hence, my feeling is that he won't make it to a second term.

Such is life in Washington.
