- Volunteer for an hour or two at a Homeless shelter.
- Bring a week's worth of groceries around to a needy neighbor.
- Take your kids to Wal-Mart and have them use their pocket money to buy a toy for a needy child.
- Invite neighbor kids to a movie or a night of video games if the family is suffering financially.
- Donate your old books, clothes, and furniture to the Salvation Army or GoodWill instead of selling or trashing them.
- Look up all the local charities and see what their needs are at this time of year. You will be surprised how much you can contribute that doesn't cost anything.
