With all the Potter mania going on all around us I thought it would be a good idea to see what life lessons we can learn from the Pot Man.
1. Face your fears. That is the only way to overcome them. If there is one crucial lesson we have all learned from Harry is that we have to face our fears otherwise we will never overcome them.
2. Persevere. If anyone personifies perseverance it is Harry. Stick to the task, never give up.
3. Keep your friends close to you. You never know when you will need to depend on them.
4. Have faith in yourself and others. Harry had to learn, as we all have to learn, to have faith in yourself and those around you. Faith can move mountains and ward off all sorts of bad guys.
5. Courage will overcome much of what the world throws at you.
Harry is a great life lesson to all of us and I am grateful to J.K. Rowling for letting us bring him into our lives.
