The US should stay out of Libya

Once again the US is falling into the trap of attacking another nation. There are many ways the US can help the rebels without joining a coalition to attack the country. How do we know that the rebels are not being funded from extremist nations and that once in power they won't turn Libya into another US hating nation.

Supporting the people of Libya should be done through relief supplies, medicines, weapons, and funds. This should only be done through recognized and acceptable channels. A question many Muslims ask is if the US so interested in human rights why didn't they send supplies to the rebels in Sudan where over one million people have died so far. Or why has the US not supported rebels in many other nations around the world? Why hasn't the US bombed Myanmar(Burma) which has an atrocious human rights record? The simple answer of course is oil. Libya has a lot of oil so we get involved. This is why we are ridiculed for our hypocrisy by many around the world.

Hopefully one of these days will actually learn our lesson.
