Gas could rise to $10.00 a gallon

Libya is in trouble. Bahrain is in trouble. Maybe Saudi Arabia and Qatar could follow suit. If the region falls to more radical governments or we see major changes take place in the region this could lead to major gas shortages here in the US and hefty price increases in the long term. It is quite possible we could end up paying $10.00 a gallon for gas if new governments decide to reduce the amount they sell to the US. This will create a major headache for Obama as he will have to come with alternative sources of oil to meet the daily demand of Americans.

We should all watch the situation very closely to see what develops down the road. But be prepared for increases in gas prices over the next few months if the situation considers to be unstable in that part of the world.
